How great, the 4 ordered portions of goose with all the rich ingredients in silver foils and bowls, all freshly housed in a large, white thermobox, were brought from the kitchen to the courtyard to be picked up. Also served to the guests at home, a glass of red wine with it, a dessert served, YES, it was a party! This, like last time, one can only congratulate such a preparation. A kitchen like "ZUM TAUNUS" in Obernhain can count itself lucky to have such a chef in the house. This cook is really a master!

Best schnitzel in the area. Friendly, attentive and cordial staff serve customers in a traditionally furnished restaurant. Short waiting times thanks to quick, fresh preparation. The quality of the schnitzel and fries as well as the salad is impeccable and always worth a visit! Price / performance ratio is perfectly fine - we come here regularly.

Super best food and a friendly staff

Incredible food, lovely atmosphere, and swimming with beautiful history. This hole in the wall on the outskirts of Frankfurt is worth the drive as you are welcomed with open arms from the locals. I highly recommend for those to experience a family owned Gasthause, you will leave full of warmth and delicious food in your belly.

Great food

We went to the restaurant for goose dinner on November 16, 2019 and went home disappointed. Instead of a quarter goose, as advertised in the menu, there was only a piece of breast and a larger piece of skin covered on my plate. The side dishes were plentiful, but there wasn't much of the goose. For € 32.00 you can expect more. A quarter of a goose means at least one bolle and a good piece of breast. Many acquaintances praised the goose meal, we were disappointed.

As always, it was excellent. Regardless of whether it is chop steak, schnitzel or well-hung fillet, the food is excellent. We love to come here again and again.

Once a year, to the tournament on the winter mill, this hotel is a must for us. My clients and I always feel very well. A family business in the most positive sense.

The restaurant is like a time machine in my childhood. 30 years ago I often went to traditional German restaurants with my parents and grandparents. It smells like this, tastes like this, feels like this. The salad dressing is as it was then, the main dishes (we had cordon bleu and boiled fillet with green sauce) are authentic, handmade. We would love to come back.

Very nice old restaurant. Comfortable to sit and delicious food. Very extensive menu including several fish dishes. We recommend. Also the service is right here, very nice staff. But be sure to book a table in advance. We will be back.

Food is delicious, especially goose. We go every year from Stuttgart to Goose only to eat. They also have great place to stay. Can only recommend to anyone. ❤👌

Very nice and delicious home-style restaurant! The dishes are very tasty, the selection is sufficient and the prices are fair. Very attentive service and the waiting time for meals in a group of 10 absolutely in the green area.
